(Photo from Columbia)Daft Punk's latest album, Random Access Memories debuted at No. 1 on this week's Billboard pop chart (their best showing on the U.S. charts ever). And now the L.A. Times is reporting they've set a new streaming record on Spotify. Not too shabby.
But the best news for Daft Punk this week? Their hit song "Get Lucky" is already getting covered by tons of people — most notably so far by a guy named Charles Butler. The remarkable banjo player posted a YouTube video of him strumming a hoedown version of the song. He may be on to a new genre: Dixielectronica. Check out the video:
