The man has said some deliciously nasty things about his pop contemporaries over the years, and has never seemed the least bit repentant for his acid tongue — which may be why, in 2005, fellow British singer George Michael called him "such a b**ch."
So of course Boy George was just being Boy George when he complained of mistreatment by one of the One Direction boys on Twitter Wednesday night:

George attended the BRIT Awards with his preteen niece Molly, who is apparently a huge One Direction fan. George played the sweet uncle, attempting to rally her heroes to his table and later tracking them down for photos. While Molly got a shot with Harry, things didn't work out so well with Liam Payne.
Payne says he'd have been happy to have pose for a photo... if Boy George had just gotten his name right. Payne tweeted:
@BoyGeorge now now boy lets not tell porkies firstly thanks for getting my name wrong three times secondly then asking me where is liam?...akward then when you finally got it right saying you wanted Niall instead. if you would have asked me for a picture i would have stopped bro I just did what you said and pointed niall out for you so u just keep wearing ur strange hats and enjoy yourself my little Georgie pie... It's still not cool you just look wierd.
Translation: "Don't lie. You didn't know who I was, and told me you wanted Niall instead. It really hurt my feelings. I hate your stupid little hats. I can't spell 'weird.'"Naturally, One Directioners rallied to show Boy George what's what, leading him to pull out the big guns:
