She first came into the public as Paris Hilton's sidekick on The Simple Life, but she's become so much more.

She is the daughter of Lionel Richie. After graduating from Moncalri College Prepratory School in 1999, she studied for a time at the University of Arizona.

In 2003, The Simple Life debuted. The show ran for five very successful seasons. She has also guest starred on television shows like Richie has guest starred in television series including Eve, Six Feet Under and American Dreams, 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, and Chuck.

She has two children, a daughter Harlow and a son Sparrow, with Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden. They announced their engagement in February of 2010.
