Paris Hilton Rings in the New Year With an Engagement (and a $2 Million Rock)
The heiress is officially off the market!
Paris Hilton is ready for a simpler life.
Over the weekend, the 36-year-old heiress and Unicorn Mist purveyor sealed the deal with her boyfriend of two years, Chris Zylka. Forget the fact that 32-year-old Zylka popped the question atop a majestic, snow-topped mountain — the ring is to die for. According to People, the pear-shaped 20-carat ring is worth about $2 million.
Hilton shared the good news via Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 2, calling Zylka the love of her life.
"I said Yas!" she wrote next to a pic of Zylka and herself on an Aspen mountain. "So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life. My best friend & soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true! Thank you for showing me that fairytales do exist."
Later on Tuesday, she followed up with a video of the big moment.
"The most romantic moment of my life!" she wrote, hashtagging the word "#Engaged"
Zylka, known for The Amazing Spider-Man and The Leftovers, also sounded off on Instagram.
"The love of my life said: YES!" he wrote. "I am so happy thank you I love you so much @parishilton"
"The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling. I was shaking as I put it on," Hilton told People after all the excitement. "It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen!”
Congrats to the lovebirds on their engagement!
