(Getty Images)more pics »Miami Dolphins fans are nervous tonight about their rookie quarterback Pat White.  Pat White was injured during a third down play against the Pittsburgh Steelers with just over two minutes left in the third quarter of today's game.  Official reports about his current condition have not yet been released by the team.

Pat White was knocked out of bounds during play, fell over, and never returned to his feet.  He was immobile and removed on a stretcher. Athletes from both the Steelers and Dolphins called for immediate medical attention after the play. The game clock was stopped as trainers and doctors attended to Pat White. After a few minutes, the medics placed White into a restraining apparatus and used a wheeled stretcher to carry him off the field.

White is a young man and considered an up-in-coming quarterback.  Fans across the nation are hoping for a speedy and complete recovery.
