Paul Wesley Takes A Stab At TV Again In 'Tell Me A Story'
'The Vampire Diaries' alum is ready to sink his teeth into a new TV role.
If you’ve been suffering from intense Stefan Salvatore withdrawals, we’ve got great news for you.
Yes, that means Paul Wesley is returning to the small screen! The Vampire Diaries star, best known for his killer withering stares, has joined the cast of the upcoming CBS All Access thriller Tell Me a Story. What’s more? Wesley will reunite with TVD executive producer Kevin Williamson on the new project.
Tell Me a Story is a dark fairy-tale thriller which scored a straight-to-series order from CBS All Access last November. The twisted series will reimagine popular children’s tales with a modern twist, and they will take place on the gritty streets of NYC. Season 1 will specifically interweave The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Gretel into an epic saga about murder, revenge, greed, loss, and love.
Wesley will portray the lead character Eddie — a low-tier drug dealer and part-time thief who is struggling with serious substance abuse issues.
Sex and the City veteran Kim Cattrall and American Crime Story alum Billy Magnussen are also part of the cast. The Originals' Danielle Campbell is slated to star as Kayla, a girl who is coming to terms with the recent death of her mother.
