(MGM | Bauer Griffin)It's that time of year again. Christmas is on the horizon and that means sparkling lights, Bing Crosby, and 40,000 reruns of that time-honored holiday classic, A Christmas Story. Yes, the movie is a beloved favorite of millions of Americans who make it a tradition to watch Ralphie shoot his eye out every year. For most people, Ralphie is one of those singular characters who only exists in one place... like Urkel.

Peter Billingsley, the actor who played Ralphie, faded from the limelight after the film. But the child actor's career was far from over. The bespeckled, blue-eyed kid kept acting and is now a successful Hollywood producer who's done quite well for himself thanks to some powerful relationships and smart decisions (he seems to have a soft spot for Christmas movies, go figure). What's Billingsley been doing since A Christmas Story? Here's a quick rundown to get you up to date:

1. He was on Who's the Boss, Punky Brewster, and The Wonder Years in the '80s.
