There's no singular definition for "Man of the Year," but as 2012 draws to a close, it seems as though every publication is trying to come up with one.
For People magazine, it's all about sexy, and apparently there's no one sexier than Channing Tatum. (Magic Mike certainly makes a case for such a distinction.) Chris Hemsworth is pretty sexy too, but this year he had to settle for Empire's straightforward Man of the Year title. If box office success is Empire's judge of man-ness, then they went with the right guy because between Snow White and the Huntsman and The Avengers, Hemsworth is the muscle behind nearly $2 billion. Perhaps, you like your Man of the Year to be entertaining through and through. If so, you're likely to agree with Entertainment Weekly, which named Ben Affleck as Entertainer of the Year.
But there's always the people who can't make a decision, like those at GQ. Tatum, Hemsworth, AND Affleck all earned a GQ Men of the Year award this year — Tatum as Movie Star of the Year, Hemsworth as Breakout Star, and Affleck as Filmmaker of the Year.
Clearly, life's been good to all three men Men over the last 12 months, but we want your take. Which man is THE MAN of 2012?
