Bridget Jones (a.k.a “wanton sex goddess, with a very bad man between her thighs”) is back, and she's pregnant!

Yes, that right! Bridget is going to be a mother, and she's probably losing her mind over the life-changing transition. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Renée Zellweger dished new details about her highly-anticipated film, Bridget Jones's Baby. In 2004's The Edge of Reason, Bridget and Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) were engaged and on their way to a much awaited happily ever after. But somewhere along the way, things changed.

“This is part of the new challenge, discovering where she is now in her new life,” Zellweger stated. “But as an actress, it feels like stepping back with an old friend. I love this character, I like that she tells stories about what it’s like to be a woman and these really relatable situations at certain times in life. It’s so right to tell a story about Bridget in this stage of her life.”

In Bridget Jones's Baby, Zellweger's beloved protagonist is now 43 and still single. However, Bridget is dealing with a major dilemma, considering she's pregnant and doesn't know who the father is. We know that Hugh Grant's Daniel Cleaver is officially out of the picture. Good riddance, you sexy, awful man! Could the baby belong to Mark Qwant (Patrick Dempsey) — the handsome, new billionaire in her life — or could it be her on-again, off-again lover, Mark's? If it isn't obvious, we're totally rooting for Mark and his ugly Christmas sweaters! Like, who wouldn't pick the insanely dashing and beautiful Mr. Darcy?

"Mark didn't think Daniel was better than him," said Firth. "This guy Jack seems to be more of the charming good guy, and in some ways that's scarier."

Dempsey, however, was excited to be the latest addition to this love triangle. "It's completely reinvigorated me," he explained. "I've enjoyed it immensely, getting back to something that has a beginning, middle and end. It's just a completely different approach. With Grey's, you're just grinding it out. In this instance, you take the time to get through things."

Zellweger previously discussed people's strong reaction to her changing appearance for the iconic role. "All I know is that people were sending support, which means I must have needed it," she said. "I know it sounds pretty unlikely that a person might be able to keep herself clear of those words or of that experience, but I have and it takes effort."

Good for you, girl, and you have our full support as well. Now, here's some sage advice from Taylor Swift:
