He tweeted today,"My eyes were severely burned by a toxic poison.Hospitalized Mon.Excruciating pain. Now home.Pray my sight loss is restored."

He followed up a few hours later with: "
Thank you for prayers for my eyes. Another doctor visit this PM. May God use this pain for His Glory. Rom.8:28."

According to LATimes.com, Warren's spokesman A. Larry Ross explained that Warren was working in the yard, pruning some firestick plants, when he got some milky white sap from the plants in his eyes.

Ross said, "The pain was so excruciating the first 24 hours, he couldn't open his eyes."

The sap can cause temporary blindness, but luckily Warren is in the clear for the long term. He tweeted today, "A doctor put protective contacts on my corneas as bandages during the healing. I am NOT blind. Thank you."
