The Hunger Games - March 23, 2012

Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated film of 2012, The Hunger Games brings to life Suzanne Collins' hugely popular novel of the same name. Based in a dystopian United States, the games feature a kill or be killed tournament that combines elements of The Lord of the Flies and Gladiator to make a compelling film that should only expand its giant built-in fanbase.

John Carter

Based on the hero of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoon series, John Carter is the feature film debut for WALL-E and Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton. Carter (Taylor Kitsch) is a Civil War-era Confederate captain who is transported to Mars and subsequently imprisoned. The trailer shows off Carter's other-worldly powers and the fantastic CGI aliens of Mars.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation - June 29, 2012

The sequel to 2009's The Rise of Cobra, Retaliation introduces Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock and Bruce Willis as Joe Colton. This one seems to have a darker edge than the first as bad guy Zartan assassinates many of the Joes and the rest of the heroes must band together for revenge.

Battleship - May 18, 2012

The new trailer for the board game-inspired Battleship is an explosive one. With an eclectic cast featuring Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, and Rihanna, Battleship may win some weekends this Spring.

Act of Valor - February 24, 2012

A team of Navy SEALs are tasked with the mission of finding a kidnapped CIA agent in this next-level army action film. Using real SEAL team members as part of the cast, Act of Valor is attempting to make a truly authentic look at the world of black operations.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax - March 2, 2012

Dr. Seuss' classic boasts the voices of Zac Efron and Taylor Swift in a story about a boy who must discover the story of The Lorax to win over the girl of his dreams. The Super Bowl trailer showed off the colorfully creative animation of the world of Seuss and Danny DeVito as the voice of The Lorax himself, an inspired choice.
