(From Fox)With Dawn of the Planet of the Apes just three months away, we're getting a closer look at what Caesar and the rest of his tribe will look like in the upcoming movie. And this time those apes definitely look more human.
"We've got apes on horses," director Matt Reeves told USA Today. "There is a sense in the beginning of the movie that apes have inherited the Earth. You see the species as it takes dominion over the planet. It's an ape-world. That's the fun of it."
Remember in Rise of the Planet of the Apes we saw Caesar grow from James Franco's super smart chimp pet to a revolutionary ape leader, taking on the human forces in a climactic battle on the Golden Gate Bridge. That movie ended with a new super-virus spreading to humans throughout the world. When Dawn opens, the human population has been decimated, and one band of survivors is trying to figure out if they can coexist with Caesar's new ape society. This time around we'll see Caesar focused on his family — he has a wife, an infant, and a teenage son. Check out the pictures below for a hint of what's to come.
