Here are the Dead Characters the 'Game of Thrones' Cast Miss the Most

Only the good may die young in our world (according to Billy Joel anyway), but in Westeros, everyone dies — the good, the bad, and everyone in between. With Season 5 just around the corner, our thoughts turn to the Game of Thrones characters who won't be returning. Fallen fathers, mothers, brothers, kings, and rogues, all united by their failed attempts to escape George R.R. Martin's pen of doom.
IGN caught up with some of the Game of Thrones cast to see if our most missed characters match up with their own. (Spoiler alert: Someone picked Joffrey Baratheon, so no.)

Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark)
"I miss Catelyn – my mum! I really miss her. She was such a great character and she was both loved and hated by many of the fans. She wasn’t a good guy, but she wasn’t a bad guy either. She was just – she was a woman with her own faults, and beautifully played by Michelle Fairley. And I would do anything to have her back."

Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy)
"Tywin Lannister, without a doubt. That scene where he’s skinning the deer – in the second or first season, I forget which – it’s incredible. And so I guess I do miss his character quite a bit. I’m trying to think who else...oh, Ned Stark. How can you not miss Ned Stark? But then, there’s always new characters being brought in. That’s what makes me feel like a fan. I have my own image of how I picture these characters, and then the actor walks into the room and I think – oh god, that’s so much better."

"That’s so difficult. I feel like I really miss Pedro Pascal’s character (Oberyn). He was just this…sexy prince, and he is definitely kind to the eye, is our Pedro. So I wouldn’t mind him being back dancing around with a spear!"

"I still really miss Robb Stark. He was in many ways, the male character in the show that I think probably had the most public support. Just because he’s fighting for his family, he’s fighting to avenge wrong-doing. He just wants to get his family back, he doesn’t want to be dictated to or fit into that political system. He just wants to be with the woman he loves. And I think when you see characters – especially in a fantasy series – with such modest desires, who want to fly in the face of the status quo and just be true to themselves – people establish a real connection with characters like that."
