Shepherd, who scored a 21 out of 30 for her tango with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy on Monday night, became emotional when she reflected on her DWTS journey.
"I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream that I’ve always had,” she said through tears after she was eliminated. “I want to say to every person out there: That thing that scares you the most that makes you say, ‘I don’t know if I can do it, I’m scared,’ run towards it, because it’s so amazing on the other side!”
Val Chmerkovskiy had nothing but high praise for his celebrity partner when he joined her for an appearance on The View today. "Every moment was incredible for me," he said. "She's a huge star and I'm just a dancer so I really appreciate how kind she was to me. And she's exactly how she seems – that's how she is in real life."
Disney channel star Roshon Fegan and his partner Chelsie Hightower joined Sherri and Val in the bottom two, despite recieving an impressive 26 out of 30 points from the judges on Monday.
