TV Shows That Went Downhill After Season 1

True Detective is an anthology series so it's a different animal than the other shows on this list. The entire cast changes over, although there are connections between seasons. Nevertheless, it's impossible to deny Season 1 is far and away the series high point. It's so good, it made it hard for the following seasons to live up to it.
