Brace yourselves, America. The opinionated Simon Cowell will make his triumphant return to the small screen as a judge on NBC's America's Got Talent. Though he has served as an executive produce since the series' launch in 2006, Cowell will replace Howard Stern to dish out the no-holds-barred opinions we love to hate.

"I am really thrilled to be joining America's Got Talent next season," Cowell said in a statement. "What I love about this show is that it's open to absolutely anyone. America has some fantastic talent just waiting to be discovered, and I would like that talent to come to our show, including any dogs who can sing!"

The show has yet to determine if Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel will return, but are you excited about the addition of England's king of mean? Take our poll below and sound off in the comment section.
