Emily Kinney's Trading in Zombies for Rockstars in New Music Video
Rockstars who look vaguely like Daryl Dixon will have an advantage.
She may have been little Beth Greene on The Walking Dead, but in the real world, the world not yet plagued with the undead, Emily Kinney is a 29-year-old actress and accomplished recording artist. With the memory of that heartbreaking mid-season finale still fresh, she's released a music video for her brand new single "Rockstar."
What is "Rockstar" about? Well, it's about love, love between a dreamer and a musician, a poet and a Walking Dead fan (no, seriously, that comes up), all shot in a spacious brick loft in black and white. In light of recent SPOILER-FILLED events, it's bittersweet to see Kinney swaying without a care, daydreaming of simple love — and not looking over her shoulder for a hungry walker or crazy cop.
Kinney's biggest problem here is finding that elusive rockstar to marry.
She and her gal pals do a whole "Single Ladies" thing — except they want tattoos instead of diamond rings.
Any interested rockstars must be down to party after recording sessions.
She will reportedly be in charge of her future rockstar's Instagram account (which should really go over well with said rockstar's fans).
And she'll "send him unreleased Walking Dead episodes" when he's on tour.
And is it just us or does this rocker look vaguely like a musical Daryl Dixon? Come on — you see it, right?
