'Westworld' Season 2 Trailer Reveals the 'Hosts' Are Taking Over

The first trailer for Westworld Season 2 debuted during Super Bowl LII on Sunday, Feb. 4, and we all owe HBO a massive high five. The ad was the first Super Bowl commercial the network has purchased in over 20 years. Spoiler alert: It was so worth it.

In the trailer, which features familiar faces Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood), Maeve Millay (Thandie Newton), and Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright), the "hosts" begin to steal their freedom in a glorious show of rebellion against Delos Incorporated. While Season 1 was all about discovery and survival, the show's sophomore season seems to be all about power and potential.

"We built this world together... this world where dreams come true," Dolores says. "We can burn it to the ground. From the ashes, build a new world. Our world."

Season 2's April 22 release date was also revealed for the first time.
