So those rumors of a feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj that Fox and American Idol said were bogus? Yeah, not so much.
TMZ has obtained a video of the two Idol judges getting into a nasty war of words on the set of the singing competition. The dust-up apparently arose after a disagreement over one contestant's performance. Minaj is clearly furious in the video, shouting "I told them I'm not f---in' putting up with her f---in' highness over there."
As fellow judges Randy Jackson and Keith Urban try to keep the peace between the two ladies, Carey fires back, "Oh why, why do I have a three year old sitting around me?” She later adds, "I can’t see my kids, because you decided to act like a little crazy b---- and go all around the stage.”
At the end of the video American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is heard telling the crew, "That's a wrap, everybody." According to TMZ, producers ended the day of auditions early so that Minaj and Carey could calm down. Rumor has it that the normally unflappable Idol producers are genuinely worried about Nicki and Mariah making it through the entire season, and from the looks of the video, they should be worried. That's a grade A cat fight.
