Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert Will Team Up to Cover the Republican Convention

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are teaming up to cover what's sure to be one of the most ridiculous election seasons of our lifetimes, and there has never been better news.

Stewart will join Colbert on the host's Late Show as he provides the good people of the United States a play-by-play of both the Republican and Democratic conventions, which begin Monday, July 18.

There's little detail as to how often Stewart will show up, or what exactly his guest role will be, but the hosts have never failed to entertain.

Vulture first broke the news that the former Daily Show host would rejoin his old friend. The two also joined forces in 2008 for Comedy Central's Indecision 2008: America's Choice.
