For the most part, new cast members don't last long on The Walking Dead, but we have a good feeling about this Ross Marquand guy. The American actor will be joining the hit AMC show as a series regular for the second half of Season 5.

Officially, no one knows who Marquand will be playing in the post-apocalyptic world, but unofficially, everyone's basically decided he has to be Aaron. If you're not familiar with the comics and don't want to be spoiled, look away! Things won't get too spoiler-y here, but for the non-initiated, Aaron is an important part of The Walking Dead universe: He's a recruiter for the Alexandria Safe-Zone where he lives with his boyfriend Eric. Just a couple of months ago, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman mentioned fans could expect to see "a very prominent gay character from the comics" on the show soon, so it's a safe bet Rick Grimes and company will be running into Aaron in the next few episodes.
