Former NSYNC Member Lance Bass Is Hosting the First Ever Gay Dating Show
And we'll be watching, This I Promise You.
While former NSYNC member Lance Bass is presently best remembered as the guy with the hair...
...he'll soon be remembered for an entirely different, slightly more ground-breaking reason: Bass will be the host of the first ever gay dating show.
According to Variety, Finding Prince Charming has been given the go-ahead by LGBTQ channel Logo, a sister channel of VH1 owned by Viacom. 13 men will live in a single house as the show documents whatever shenanigans may occur, and follows the love stories that play out as the men hope to catch the eye of "the nation’s most eligible gay heartthrob."
Much like The Bachelor, in the finale, that MVP will choose one man with whom to embark upon a monogamous relationship. Unlike its would-be predecessor, Bravo's Boy Meets Boy, all the men will be gay, making the show TV's first legitimate go at a same-sex competition.
Bass himself came out as gay in a 2006 cover story for People, and televised his 2014 wedding on E!
Finding Prince Charming is filming now.
