Getty ImagesHosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were the talk of the Golden Globes earlier this year and now NBC is supposedly hoping for a repeat. Deadline reports the network has approached the funny ladies about a second go.
Apparently the whole thing is in the very early stages — there's been an informal offer, so far, to gauge interest from the two. While it at least looked like they had a blast up on the stage their first time around, both gals are extremely busy, after all.
Fey has two big projects in the works, while Poehler has Parks and Recreation and a busy movie career. Plus, they're both moms (Poehler's a divorced mom, at that). A saving grace might be that Golden Globes hosting duties only involve a commitment of a couple of weeks. It's manageable.
Talks are expecting to continue and get more serious in the next few weeks, with a formal announcement hopefully by November. The nominations then come out in December.
This year's Golden Globes were the most watched ever, up 17% from 2012.
