There's a wrecking ball headed your way, y'all.

Woody Allen's mini series Crisis in Six Scenes is more mysterious than any Christopher Nolan project, and it also features a slew of familiar faces and plot lines. Amazon Studios is producing the half-hour comedy which will have a total of six episodes.

Set in the 1960s, Crisis in Six Scenes centers on a conservative New York couple (Allen and Elaine May) who have their beliefs challenged by a young, lively hippie (Miley Cyrus). The mini series will focus on the counter-culture movement of the '60s and how someone with radically different views can come into your life and make you question everything.

The show will feature plenty of physical comedy and will maintain a humorous tone. Much of the dialogue was improvised, and Allen has already stated that he will not create a second season.

Amazon reportedly spent two years courting Allen to take on the project and paid the prolific director $15 million and gave him complete creative control. Allen hasn't worked in TV since he wrote for Sid Caesar in the 1950s.
