The Zabrovians are headed to Broadway!
In this Wednesday's all-new episode of The Neighbors, the Bird-Kersees ignore the Weavers’ concerns and decide to go to into the city to see a Broadway show. Inspired by the experience, Larry decides to put on a musical of his own. Everyone's having a great time getting their Smash on when Dick Butkus takes a major misstep. Instead of going to Marty and Debbie for help, though, the Bird-Kersees risk exposing their true identities when they call 9-1-1.
For its musical extravaganza, The Neighbors didn't go the Glee route and just cover a bunch of ready-made hits. The ABC comedy tapped Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken to write original songs for the episode, cleverly titled “Sing Like a Larry Bird."
