The Trailer For Season 6 Of 'Orange Is The New Black' Finally Introduces Us To A New World
Bye, bye, Litchfield.
Time to say goodbye to Litchfield... For now.
The last time we checked in on the ladies of Litchfield, they were rioting, demanding improved prison conditions, and butting heads with Piscatella (RIP). Oh, and a group of them were living the good life in a hidden underground pool. On Monday, Netflix released the first trailer for the upcoming Season 6 of Orange Is the New Black — and let's just say it doesn't seem like all that rioting swung things in their favor. Now Taystee, Piper, Red, Suzanne, Nicky, Gloria, and others (but not Alex!) must face the consequences of their actions in maximum security prison.
In the clip, anxiety levels are on high, but I'm kind of glad for the change of scenery. Hopefully, the new setting means we'll be introduced to a new crop of characters. Plus, getting things out of Litchfield could help the show course-correct after an intense — yet somewhat messy — Season 5.
Orange Is the New Black Season 6 arrives on Netflix on Friday, July 27.
