Taylor Swift is baaack.

After blacking out her social media earlier this week, the singer released several cryptic Instagram videos of snakes — a clear embrace of her feud with Kim Kardashian. All of this, of course, was a clear build up to today's big announcement: Swift is releasing a new single tomorrow night, and will drop a new album called "Reputation" on Nov. 10.

No, this is not a drill. And, yes, Taylor Swift has been out of the limelight for quite some time. If you will recall, the singer has been laying low since breaking up with Tom Hiddleston and being caught in a blatant lie about approving the lyrics to Kanye West's song "Famous." Swift hasn't released an album since 2014's 1989, but did collaborate with Zayn on "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" for the soundtrack of Fifty Shades Darker.

So where has she been? The straight answer is probably recording new music, but also, probably playing the slow and long PR game.

Swift is one of the biggest pop stars around whose every move is carefully thought out and calculated. Despite not being the biggest Taylor Swift fan (I kind of enjoyed her not being everywhere over the last year. There, I said it.), I'm curious to see how she bounces back from what could easily be described as a PR nightmare. And with new music on the way, prepare yourself for the deluge of articles connecting her lyrics to Kanye West, Kim K. and Tom Hiddleston. Swift will suddenly pop up at more events, maybe host a listening party or two. A concert featuring giant live snakes is probably already in the works.

Basically prepare yourself. It's Taylor Swift season.
