You might not have seen the last of Stars Hollow.

According to UK outlet Metro, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos has confirmed the company is in talks to bring more Gilmore Girls to the streaming site.

"We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped," Sarandos said. "The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that."

We'd urge you not to get your hopes up just yet, though, as Sarandos also said these talks were in very early stages.

As fans know, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life ended with a massive cliffhanger: Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) dropped the baby bomb to mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham). A very single Rory was expecting her first child, and the identity of the father was left an infuriating mystery.

In future episodes, the father would undoubtedly be revealed, and we'd finally get to meet the fourth generation of the Gilmore family.

While we'd like to say our paternity bet is on Logan, we're inclined to believe the mysterious Wookiee might just be the culprit. We shall see. We shall see.
