The Most Controversial Movies on Netflix

'Antichrist'
(2009)
Starring: Charlotte Gainsbourg, Willem Dafoe

John Waters describes Antichrist best: "If Ingmar Bergman had committed suicide, gone to hell, and come back to earth to direct an exploitation/art film for drive-ins, this is the movie he would have made." Antichrist is Lars Von Trier's horror film, a menagerie of insane imagery that runs the gamut from shocking to pornographic to extremely violent. It's an experience of a movie that only the most open-minded of film buffs should agree to. The first part combines sex and a child's death in a horrifying reality that spins the mother character (Gainsbourg) into insanity.
