Jeremy Tyler, High School Basketball Player, Leaves US to Play Pro in Israel

Jeremy Tyler, an 18-year-old high school student in San Diego, CA, is the first American to leave high school to play overseas.

Tyler is to play for Maccabi Haifa for $140,000. He's expected to return to the States when he qualifies for the NBA draft.

Japan Times reported:
The 211-cm, 118-kg Tyler announced in the spring that he was skipping his last season at San Diego High School because the basketball had become boring.
