Tiger Woods Buddhism

Tiger Woods apologized for his affairs and mentioned that he is taking heart in buddhist beliefs and teachings.
Professional golfer Tiger Woods gave a public statement.  This was his first press appearance since news of his affairs with over 10 mistresses dominated the headlines in late November and December of last year. Woods somberly apologized to his staff, family, friends, and fans.

During his statement, Woods mentioned that he was raised as a buddhist.  Tiger Woods' buddism has sparked an interest in the teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha.  One of the main beliefs in Buddism is that everything is continuously changing, and that's exactly what Tiger Woods is hoping for.  More on Buddist teachings can be found here .
