For starters, there's a slew of new players in town. Neal McDonough (Desperate Housewives, Boomtown) will play Robert Quarles, a Detroit mobster who shows up and immediately starts causing trouble for Deputy U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens. Episode 2 will also introduce Ellstin Limehouse, a quiet yet powerful African-American baddie played by Mykelti Williamson. And Carla Gugino (Californication, Entourage) will also be stopping by to play a U.S. Marshall who has smokin' hot chemistry with Raylan.
"They don't seem well-behaved," Justified star Timothy Olyphant joked to E! about the show's new additions.
But don't worry, the influx of new characters doesn't mean that old favorites like Boyd (Walter Goggins) and Ava (Joelle Carter) will be getting the short end of the stick this season. Their romance is still in full swing and this season the lovers will also be working together. And could the new bad guys in town finally make Raylan and Boyd set aside their differences?
“We could,” Olyphant told Entertainment Weekly. “Or, we could go the other way. Or, we could have them on the same side and still bumpin’ heads. You want to keep it simple, but at the same time, if there’s an alliance, you want it to be an uneasy one."
Justified premieres tonight at 10 pm on FX.
