What The Actors From Your Favorite Survival Movies Endured For Their Intense Roles

4. Ryan Reynolds In 'Buried'
Almost the entire plot of the 2010 movie Buried takes place from inside a coffin – making it a rather difficult film to shoot for its lead actor Ryan Reynolds.

"You’re not given a lot of fresh air and you’re not wandering around, and as the film progresses the situation becomes increasingly dire," Reynolds said of the grueling shoot. "Eventually I’m at the top of the coffin with my nose touching the ceiling and there’s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, and it takes ten, fifteen, twenty minutes to get in there, so I’m not allowed to get out because it would delay us too much. For the last 5 days of the shoot, I was pretty much in the coffin, I didn’t really get to leave much, maybe lunch that was about it."

Yeah, that's going to be a hard pass for us.
