Saldana wore faux lashes.Opinions are mixed on the over-the-top Givenchy couture gown Avatar star Zoe Saldana wore to the 2010 Academy Awards. While we at Zimbio loved the ultra-modern look, others were not quite so taken with the gown's bunched and frilled purple skirt.
One thing we can all agree on, however, is that Zoe looked extremely beautiful, regardless of what she was wearing. Her hair and makeup team deserves an accolade for this pretty, polished look. Saldana's makeup artist, Vera Steimberg, kept the actress' look relatively simple - but added dark faux eyelashes by shu uemura (in slant black) for a romantic hint of drama.
Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of this beautiful woman in the coming year!
