Zoe Saldana is MaxMara's 'Face of the Future'

Gorgeous actress Zoe Saldana was the best dressed woman of 2009, by our count, and we're pleased to hear she's getting the recognition she deserves from the fashion industry.

The Avatar star has been named "The Face of the Future" by Italian brand MaxMara. Saldana will sit front row at the MaxMara show on Saturday at Milan Fashion Week, and will accept an award at the Women in Film Crystal & Lucy Gala, a Los Angeles event sponsored by MaxMara.

Earlier this year, fans cried foul when Saldana was not featured on the cover of Vanity Fair's "New Hollywood" issue after a breakout year in 2009.
