President Obama Signs Finance Reform Bill Into Law

(AFP OUT) U.S. President Barack Obama (2nd L) raises his hands after signing the financial reform bill into law during a ceremony with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) (L), Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd (D-CT) (3rd L) and House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) (R) at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center July 21, 2010 in Washington, DC. A sweeping expansion of federal financial regulation in the wake of the worst recession since the Great Depression, the bill will create a consumer protection agency, lay out a blueprint for disassembling financial entities considered "too big to fail," and many other reforms.
