'Vatican' Mini-Series Films in Rome

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner', in Rome filming the pilot for the TV mini-series 'The Vatican' written by Paul Attanasio, former designer of 'Dr. House - Medical Division'. The show, a few days after the election of Pope Francis, recounts the struggles for power and the mysteries of the Catholic Church. On the set were Matthew Goode and Rebecca Ferguson, while Bruno Ganz, a Swiss actor known for his numerous roles, including Adolf Hitler in the film 'The Fall', will play the role of Pope Sixtus VI.
