According to Wikipedia: David Michael Hasselhoff, nicknamed "The Hoff", is a tall American actor, singer and songwriter who is best known for his lead roles on Knight Rider and Baywatch. He also crossed over to a successful music career, primarily in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany during the late 1980s.

Bauer Griffin David Hasselhoff 's attorney denies rumors that the actor's hospital visit Sunday was due to heavy drinking, instead he says it was because of a bad reaction between medications. The 57-year-old former Baywatch star had an ear infection and was taking Antivert that mixed poorly with his anti-alcohol prescription, Antabuse.
