We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 which means we offer the procedure of copyright owners to make notifications of the claimed infringement and the users to make counter-notifications in case their content was removed under the mistake.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

In case you think that your copyrighted work has been utilized on Zimbio.com in a manner that infringes the copyright law, you can send a notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. The Next Step after DMCA Notice.

  • After a valid DMCA bona fide notice has been received:
  • We can either take down or block access to the supposedly infringing content.
  • We shall inform the user that posted the material that it has been removed or disabled.
  • We can close or cancel accounts of users who keep on violating copyright.
  • It should be noted that cases of copyright infringement claims which are not true are punishable by law.

Counter Notification Process

In case your information has been deleted due to a false claim of infringing, you can submit a counter-notification. A counter-notice must contain the following:

  • Your full name signature otherwise physical or electronic.
  • The material to be removed and the place on which it was previously displayed on the Site.
  • A statement under oath of perjury, that you believe the material was removed on accident or wrongful identification.

Your name, address, telephone number, and a declaration accepting the submission to the jurisdiction of a federal court in your district (or another jurisdiction in the United States in case you are not in the United States). We can republish the content upon the counter-notification of a legitimate counter-notice within the timeline and requirements of the DMCA.
