Accessibility Features
Zimbio.com has had numerous features implemented to enhance accessibility; these are in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA standards that have been developed by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These features include:
- Alternatives to non-textual content (images and icons) in text format.
- Audio video captions or transcripts.
- Coherent organization and substantial sub-heads all over the site.
- All navigable elements can be accessed by keyboard.
- Indisputable page, linking, and interactive labels.
These attributes have been developed to facilitate any assistive technologies and allow all users regardless of their abilities to interact with our content.
Ongoing Efforts
The issue of accessibility to websites is a continuous undertaking. In the course of our efforts to ensure that all pages are accessible, complete adherence to all of the pages and functionalities is not possible because of the dynamic nature of the content and the use of certain third-party widgets or tools.
All pages might not completely meet the requirements of WCAG standards all the time.
- Third party content or plug-ins have not had the same accessibility.
- We also revise and update our accessibility practices and make sure that the user experience is enhanced.
- Your Feedback Matters
- We appreciate your feedback, and we would like to contact you in case you:
- Face barriers of accessibility.
- Unable to access content or features.
- prefers to receive information in a different format.
To get in touch with us regarding the issue of accessibility to the site, send us an email at hello@zimbio.com with the subject line of Website Accessibility and a description of the problem. We will also listen to your feedback and will take into consideration as one of our continuous accessibility enhancements.
Thank you! You are helping us to make Zimbio.com a better place!
