LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet have agreed to a confidential divorce settlement, Los Angeles court records show. The document reads: “The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties’ mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy.” It is believed the settlement divides the couple’s cash, property and other valuables. The document says that both Rimes, 27, and Sheremet, 29, will be single when their marital status officially ends on June 19, 2010. The husband of LeAnn Rimes has filed for divorce and is asking the country music star for spousal support, according to reports. Dean Sheremet filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court, on Thursday, to divorce the singer. In the petition for divorce, Sheremet, 29, asks for Rimes to pay spousal support, plus all attorney fees and costs, and cites “irreconcilable differences” for the break-up. His lawyer Stacy D Phillips has also requested that the court not grant spousal support to Rimes. Rimes, 27, married her former back-up dancer Sheremet in 2002. LeAnn Rimes -- no stranger to ramming into things she's not supposed to -- was at it again today ... but this time the victim was an un-married golf cart. According to witnesses at the scene, LeAnn was backing out of a parking spot at The Commons shopping center today in Calabasas, CA when she collided with a security golf cart. We're not sure who was at fault -- but we do know there were no injuries and the matter was taken care of privately.
