LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A celebrity photographer who briefly dated Britney Spears at the height of her career meltdown was sentenced to 45 days in jail on Friday after clashing with an official trying to serve him a restraining order. Adnan Ghalib, 37, one of the paparazzi who trailed Spears night and day in 2007, was also ordered to complete an anger management program. Los Angeles prosecutors alleged that in February Ghalib drove his car toward an official who was trying to serve a court order keeping him away from Spears and her family. Britney Spears ‘ ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has been sentenced to 45 days behind bars following his altercation with a process server earlier this year. Ghalib was accused of running over Ram Moskowitz in February as he tried to hand the British paparazzo legal papers relating to the singer’s 2008 conservatorship case. He initially pleaded not guilty to one count of felony assault with a deadly weapon, but struck a plea deal with prosecutors last month which saw him plead no contest to the lesser charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Britney Spears took time out to soak up the sun on Sydney Harbour over the weekend. After arriving in Sydney on Saturday, Spears spent the day on the yacht, Oscar. Relaxing in a bikini, Spears boarded the craft at Woolloomooloo with her sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3, manager-boyfriend Jason Trawick – and an army of security. After cruising the Harbour, the yacht moored at Camp Cove off Watsons Bay for lunch. Spears had some fun with the papparazzi and turned the cameras on them. I don’t think that will deter them:). Britney Spears’ ex Adnan Ghalib has been sentenced to 45 days’ prison for a hit-and-run crash. The photographer received the county jail term after he allegedly ran over a court official who was trying to serve him with a restraining order filed by the singer’s father. Ghalib, who pleaded no contest to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident, has already spent one day behind bars – but will be forced to serve the remaining 44 days of his sentence.
