Summary: Samantha Solomon was a 29-year-old guidance counselor at the High School for Health Professions and Human Services. She was fired from the position after an internal probe by the New York City Department of Education discovered she had had a two-week affair with a 17-year old male student. According to documents obtained by the New York Daily News, Solomon began the relationship with shopping trips to Macy's and dinner at a Manhattan T.G.I. Friday's. She admitted to investigators that she had sexual intercourse with the student five times, including, as the Daily News puts it, "early morning trysts at her Manhattan apartment." Solomon was never charged by legal authorities, but was eventually fired from her position at the school. Also working at the same school as Solomon was Rhianna Ellis, #44 on our list, who had a 10-month affair and eventually bore the child of another 17-year-old student at the high school.
NOTE: The name "Samantha Solomon" is a fairly common one. This Samantha Solomon was 29 in 2005.
