Summary: Gwen Cardozo was an English teacher at Watson High School in Colorado Springs, CO for nearly 10 years. A student-teacher at the school was grading papers for Cardozo when he found love notes written to Cardozo from a student. The notes referred to "doing it today" and ended in "I love you." While Cardozo initially denied the affair, she eventually admitted to police she had been having sex with the 17-year-old male student three times a week for two months. She pleaded guilty to sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, and was required to register as a sex offender.
