Former league MVP and 10-time all-star Allen Iverson is free to sign a contract with any National Basketball Association club after clearing waivers on Thursday. Iverson becomes an unrestricted free agent after a falling out with the Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis waived him through the league after only three games this season and no team claimed the 34-year-old guard during the 48-hour period, allowing him to become a free agent.
