Larry Kellner and Jeff Smisek (Houston Chronicle) Larry Kellner, the 50-year-old chief executive officer and chairman of Continental Airlines, is giving up his post to "return to the private-equity world." Jeff Smisek will take over the position at Continental. Bloomberg reported: Kellner has been CEO since December 2004.
