(Getty Images)more pics »Phil Wolf, the owner of Wolf Automotive used car dealership in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, has come under national scrutiny, due to a billboard Wolf is displaying at his car lot. The billboard questions whether Barack Obama is a legal citizen of the United States, reads "President or Jihad?" and obliquely blames the Ft. Hood massacre on Obama.

The cost of all this controversy? Wolf paid $2,500 to have the billboard done, and says he's gotten more than a 1,000 phone calls since it went up, both for and against his message. Speaking to the Associated Press, the car lot's general manager, Wayne Means, says there's been a variety of public response. "We've had people come by and say, 'Keep it up.' We've had people come by and say, 'Take it down,'" Means said. "We can have differences of opinion. This is America."

Meanwhile, left-leaning group MoveOn.org has started a campaign to boycot the car lot, calling the billboard "racist."
