Well, that's 85 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Observe and Report is mean with ugly characters in disturbing situations, which would be fine with me if it were in the least bit funny. Labeled a comedy, there's next to nothing to laugh at in Observe and Report . You know, I have no problem at all with lines of dialogue sprinkled liberally with 'f—ks' and 'sh-ts' – if, and this is the catch, there's a reason and if it's not overdone. Seth Rogen has fulfilled a dream, and he's not talking about starring in the box-office hit "Knocked Up" or playing a superhero in the upcoming "The Green Hornet." Rogen co-wrote an episode of "The Simpsons" and lends his voice to a character in the episode that airs 8 p.m. EDT Sunday, kicking off the Fox show's 21st season. EVER since comedic actor Seth Rogen announced a new Green Hornet movie, superhero fans have feared all the years of work to get the genre taken seriously would be undone. Now we have solid releases such as The Dark Knight and Iron Man delivering accessible, credible hits. Rogen, previously known as a chubby comedian and not for any action hero roles, has co-written Green Hornet with Superbad partner Evan Goldberg. He will also play the lead role ... Read Full Story

Everyone loves a great underdog story (Rudy! Rudy!); and the story of Canadian heavy metal band Anvil is one of the better ones we've seen as of late. Their documentary, Anvil! The Story of Anvil has received almost purely raving reviews (98% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes), and has re-entered the band into the public eye, where they surely deserve to be. In their re-acquired fame, the band -- consisting of Steve Kudlow , Robb Reiner , and Glenn Five -- have found themselves playing festivals and shows again, recording a new album, and appearing on many different popular talk shows. Better yet, they've apparently ... Read Full Story
