Florida Teacher Stephanie Ragusa Arrested For Having Sex With a Kid Again

More charges have been brought against former teacher Stephanie Ragusa. To refresh your memory Ragusa was arrested in March for having sex with a 14-year-old male student while she was a teacher at Davidsen Middle School.

She was charged with five counts of lewd and lascivious battery, and had been released from jail after posting bond.

Well, apparently, Ragusa was very popular with the young boys at the Tampa middle school. She was arrested again, Tuesday evening, at her Tampa home. She has further been charged with two counts of sex with a minor and one count of lewd and lascivious battery, all counts stemming from her relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

Text messages from Ragusa to the boy on March 10, show evidence of the claims. Ragusa’s cell phone had been seized on a warrant from her first arrest, allowing the sheriff’s office to obtain the texts and identify the second teen.

Ragusa was released Tuesday night after posting a $22,500 bail, and remains suspended without pay pending a vote by the Hillsborough County School Board.
On top of all of this, the 28-year-old teacher is also accused of buying the teen alcohol during their relationship.

This arrest follows a string of alleged relationships between teachers and students. Apparently inappropriate relationships have run rampant in Tampa.

In the past two months, two Hillsborough County teachers and one Pasco County teacher have been accused of having sex with students. Last week, a volunteer band coach was also accused of having sex with at least one under-aged girl.

All we can say is, bad, bad teachers… bad.
