Great news out of Buffalo. No, it isn’t that Trent Edwards is healing up and will most likely start this Sunday. Buffalo is coming off of a Bye week and was not given an opportunity to further embarrass themselves on offense. I hate getting down on my team but let’s face facts, this team is offensively challenged. There is hope as Buffalo’s schedule becomes easier through the second half of the season, but don’t hold on to the hope that this will translate into a playoff spot. What it will translate into will be another 7-9 season give or take a win. I think ... Read Full Story

The Buffalo News reports on the numbers, or lack of numbers, that Terrell Owens is putting up with the Bills this year; Buffalo Bills receiver Terrell Owens has a candid assessment of his numbers through seven games: “I mean they’re pathetic to be honest,” Owens said Wednesday as the Bills prepared for Sunday’s game against Houston. “Definitely, for myself it’s very, very frustrating. I hear a lot of people saying I’ve hit the wall, I can’t play any more, this and that. I mean, I know I can play. But that’s the thing. I understand what’s going on with this team.” Owens has 18 ... Over a two week period the Buffalo Bills have gone from possible contenders for a top 5 draft pick, to possibly finishing with another 7-9 record. Two weeks ago Buffalo’s offense could not move the ball. Two weeks ago Buffalo was also unable to conjure up any plays on special teams. Fast forward to this week and, although Buffalo’s special teams has improved, the offense is still unable to move the football with any sort of consistency. The Bills were forced to start Ryan Fitzpatrick last week and will do so again against Houston. He did not produce much better than Edwards in his ... Read Full Story

If Terrell Owens has any concerns about the Buffalo Bills’ offense and his lack of a big-play role in it three weeks into the season, he’s going to keep it to himself. And if reporters don’t like that, too bad, because Owens feels whatever he says will be taken out of context, and he has no intention of throwing more fuel on the fire. “I think over the years that’s always gotten me in trouble and created some sort of division in the locker room with guys on the team,” Owens said after practice Wednesday. “I try to do the right thing now. And ... Read Full Story

With today marking the start of Thursday games, it’s early decision time regarding players for the Bears and 49ers.  One of the players on the bubble for fantasy owners is Johnny Knox.  Is he someone that is worth using, say over the struggling Terrell Owens?  Let’s take a look. Before we get into details on the head-to-head matchup, let me say that if you play in a league that awards points for return yards, Knox has a distinct advantage.  He...

As the 2009 NFL football season got underway a couple of months ago, I started to have a bad feeling in my gut that this season for the Dallas Cowboys was going to be a repeat of last year. However, a few weeks ago - the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff gave Miles Austin a chance to play and the rest is history. Like most other Dallas Cowboys fans, I was happy to see Terrell Owens go - but his departure left a huge void in the Dallas Cowboys team...
